Is diet and drugs enough for tackling obesity

An Australian biologist who got Queen’s Birthday honor said that the most challenging thing to remove obesity is to fight against the environment they live in. Professor Stephen Simpson who was awarded with the Companion of Order of Australia said that the best way in which the obesity research can be redefined is to refer it as an obesogenic environment. The head of Obesity Australia said that it is very difficult to fight against obesity not because of lack of will power but because of the way the world is designed.

A diet and drugs are not enough to get away with obesity. It is necessary to understand the relevance of barriers and pathways that lead to healthy living. So dieting or being on drugs can’t help people in any way. Due to our political and economic system, we have an unhealthy supply system that produces processed food that are low in fibers and other important nutrients to get over fats. The supply chain has been processed and industrialized because of its irrelevancy.
The need to conserve energy should be supported by the environment and less energy should be spent on physical activities. To lose weight, your body should count the number of calories it consumes every day. Only should the social elements that cause harm to our health is eliminated can the people fighting against obesity get over this problem. Obesity is the problem that 2 out of 3 people are suffering from.
